why photography?

I had my first baby in 2023 and it changed me. I needed to stay at home with her but wanted to continue to pursue my passion!! Photography gives me the flexibility to fulfill my most important role of being her momma while also continue creating art, which I am so grateful for. I was taught by my amazing mother to utilize my talents and work hard and those things are helping me to work hard in this business, while still enjoying the art of it. In all honesty, I wasn't "born with a camera in my hand" and didn't find out about my love for it until later, however, I believe if you really care about something and are determined you can succeed! That is how I how I run my business; as a girl who is still learning everyday but just loves to take pictures :)

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is helping you see a different perspective. Life can be hard if you are only looking at things with one view, but when you see another side it can help you to understand the bigger picture! My hope is that you see yourself in a way you haven't before and can see the bigger picture: that you are beautiful, you are needed, and you matter. I absolutely love telling stories or capturing feelings of your love story or just you! A quote I've seen says "Pictures aren't always important...until they're all you have left". I want you to have pictures that help you remember that time and place in your life, whatever it is!
